Depending on your calendar math, the late 2020βs has already started. That means go-time for young musicians that have cut their teeth on early streaming success and are now going all-in to make their late 2020βs (and their own 20βs on earth, their-time to shine π«.
Here are three artists (ok, one is a group) that are ready for an incredible run in the late 2020βs.
#1 Jessie Murph
Letβs be honest about it, Jessie Murph is certainly NOT a βlong shotβ to takeover the late 20βs because she already slotted a Billboard 100 with her song βBlue Strips.β But then again, who the heck saw that coming?! Seriously who told you that gal from βBama barely old enough to buy some White Claw would have the most thuggish song on the charts this yearβ¦and with a βBlue Stripsβ remix featuring Sexyy Red to solidify it. Ainβt that America tough, God bless her uncanny nature.

Jessie Murph painted the town in β25.
The future though is certain, Jessie Murph is ready to drop more great music from her growing songbook. Recently she released five new songs for the deluxe version of her album of her album Sex Hysteria. Easy to obsess over and honestly thankful for this deluxeβ¦.but donβt tap into songs like βWildflowers and Wineβ without the box of Kleenex. If youβre in a different mood, and need something to quench your thirsty Thursday then tap into βForeverβ featuring 6LACK.

#2 WHATMORE
Thereβs been some chatter on the internet this year about Hip Hop having peaked. That clickbait sure works and the data aligns, but the reality is that cause of the lull-ish year for Hip Hop is that obvious: who would want to take on Kendrick after what happened to Drake. Donβt tell the youth that though. Prime example, WHATMORE, the Hip Hop crew from NYC that earned their spot on the Coachella β26 line-up with a run of mixtapes and releases that make everyone move. As their leader, Cisco Swank, boldy states on their song, βchicken shop dateβ, the mission is throne. This year WHATMORE focused on their music videos and have cooked up 5 dope DIY style videos shot form their spots in Manhattan.
Check out the WHATMORE videos and then like any good cooking, if you like it, tell someone else about βem.

#3 Paige
From the unsuspecting yet also awe-inspiring island nation of New Zealand comes Paige, who is an essential twenty-something, singer-songwriter that refuses to lose while relying almost entirely on herself. Taking the path of busking your way to a hit is certainly a challenge, but starting that path from New Zealand is altogether different. Donβt tell Paige tough, sheβs a calm and cool singing the blues from her acoustic guitarβ¦.but in her own way, with a touch of MΔori roots. Paige is currently on a run of incredible releases and hereβs a couple go-to choices to get started.
